Biography

Mathilda currently works with SG Enable, an agency for persons with disabilities in Singapore. Previously, Mathilda worked in the line of home and community care, serving the elderly in Singapore and persons with disabilities in Australia. In 2015, Mathilda met with Rohingya refugees who fled and arrived in Australia before the Australian government resumed offshore detention in 2012. Her personal encounter with the refugees spurred her to establish AFR-SG shortly after.

Area of training

Mathilda has a B.A. in Philosophy and Master of Development Studies (International Development) from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

I love hummus and enjoy knitting and creating things with my hands.
